I tried the seals that I put on the lenses but made them stand to proud and could not get the screws on to mount the chrome surround on the car. Found the flat seals that fit between the lens and chrome trim. These seem to be the right seals and they can now be screwed into place with the original screws.

Wow those are definitely some rare parts. I wondered what they looked like in NOS form. I am sure there are not many of these still around. Thanks for posting that.

I emailed within 45 minutes of seller post last night and received a response just now that the parts were sold. So they must've gone quickly.

If the buyer was a member of the forum and happens to read this, it would be nice if we could get a 3d scan or injection mold made so they can be reproduced in some way. I'd pitch in.

Else, early lowlight owners have to move to the 58+ seals....

I was lucky to find a complete set of early tail lights on Ebay in Germany. But that was 10 years ago. It is almost impossible to find NOS parts nowadays...
