TacoChris, I love the Ghia. It's bitchcin. It irritates me that I can get cars for good deals, because I'm not into perfect paint, body and interior, but all the little shit to get it to sit the way I want adds up to a fortune. Oh well, It would be that much more if I had to have a paint job. You have a cute kid there. Train him right. My kid was all into the VW's until he found video games and computers. Now he could care less about doing anything that doesn't include a damn screen. |

Haha...trust me midman these ugly ass cars just keep finding ME! This car was about to be parted out and cut up when i came along...no one wanted it at all but I saw her potential and I saved her. ...but yea you're correct, slamming a VW and doing it the right way will cost you but I have a vision in my head and until it sits like I see it in my head I wont be happy.....
....and yes I sure hope my son doesnt get into the video game thing, im not into technology and all that mess so we would be completely out of each others element. ....all I can hope is that he wants to be like daddy. _________________ 1957 Lowlight

Time for my second entry into this game.....This is my 58 lowlight that just hit the streets this last weekend. One inch of ground clearance in the front and about 3.5" at the tranny cradle...Love it or hate it, she is here to stay.

She's not the lowest but for a static drop she's a world of fun to drive. I daily drive her about 45 miles round trip and about another 100 miles of leisure travel.
She's 46 1/2" from flat ground to the highest point of the drip rails on the roof. I'm 6'2 so it's fun to climb in an out of
Everyone posts pics of items under their beam to show a comparison.
Ran this over the other day headed to work. I drug it a few blocks, made a right turn and then a u turn to pull in and park and had to dig it out from under the car! _________________ Working to rid Los Angeles streets of reflectors one lane change at a time!!! |

Wrong car. The car above is a 60's model. The car in the mag is a split.
