Hey guys, I'm coming up for the three show weekend over July 14th, 15th and 16th. Think one of the shows is the Northwest Vintage Show. Who can give me some more information on the shows? |
Yep the Vitage show is a good one for sure. One of the bigger, must see ones.

Ah so the bid D is Dallas. I lived in San Antonio for a bit. Best big show was the Classic in Fredericksburg. I never ventured out past that so don't know of anything bigger out there. The vintage show here will be of equal size with more stock leaning restorations and less full out customs. The swap meet will be hands down a far better experience than what I saw at the Classics there.
You'll be taken care of out here and I hope pleasantly surprised _________________

3 is a bit early for me too since I can't really drink on the clock, but I'm leaving work here around 4pm. Should be there before 4:30pm, give or take. _________________ Andrew

Gah,
I seem to have fallen off the notifications for this topic. Also I've been hibernating all winter.
Maybe I'll be able to catch up with you guys next time.

Is anyone thinking about heading to the Boise Family Reunion next month? I was planning on leaving Seattle Thursday eve down highway 84.
If anyone is interested in a convoy, I could be flexible on the leaving time/day |

I might be in your neighborhood later this year for a Greater Manila Bus Gathering. Will keep you posted. _________________ Keep on Busin'

I was thinking about getting a swap space at the Vintage VW Weekend coming up in a couple weeks to help with purging stuff from the garage.. I don't know if I have enough to justify a space all alone ($40 for a spot). Anyone else interested in going in on a spot together? _________________ Andrew

Got your message the other day, Stu. I appreciate the invite, but there is no way I can pull away from here right now. With winter bearing down on us, there is way too much stuff to get done that can't happen with several feet of snow covering everything.
Seeing the words "fireworks allowed" was pretty damn tempting, though. _________________ nothing |

So yes there was a impromptu gathering at Stus parents in Everett yesterday. Not sure who made it. I took the trek out the 18 to the 90, up across 220-230 through Carnation and over to him in the bus. What a nice Fall drive that was. Beautiful in many ways, bus drove awesome and had plenty of warmth provided by the stock heat.
Met up with the Stuartzickefoose clan and my daughter Emy at a taco shop. After lunch we rolled the back 40 of their property and let my daughter take her first drive (driving herself) ever in the 80 Auto Vanagon.
I got some parts off of Maisy. Stu put on the HD bar - and oh man what a difference at speed on the freeway. Good times I was out by 345.
