|
|
Anyone know the width of the oil pump housing hole on the 1600? Or anyone have a case sitting around that they wouldn't mind taking a quick measurement? I'm trying to find a case splitting tool for my brat's 1600 but only VW tools come up, and they fit into the oil pump area and work as a spreader. It should be the same on the brat but I wanted to get a measurement before I order the tool. _________________ KK4NTP

Call bus boys and ask him to measure an oil pump for you. He'll do it I'm sure. Nice guy _________________ Lead Mechanic: San Diego Air and Space Museum

they are all the same. The tool that works on a T4 works on a T1 also.

But does it fit a Subaru?, I'll measure one in the next few hours if no one beats me to it. _________________ Rust NEVER sleeps and stock never goes out of style.

Much appreciated. Although I've got 1 7/8". Big difference. I'll have to call and see how big that tool is. _________________ KK4NTP
