I'm sure I've seen a very clean and possibly lowered dove blue singlecab on here not too long ago. But I can't seem to find it. Anyone know wich one I'm talking about?

Also, pics of nice 2wd sikas are very appreciated!

Just made a deal on a dove blue one with round headlights and a 1.9WBX. Dont know much about it yet but hoping to get it this weekend.

Audi A8 18x8 rims are in the bag along with a 45mm H&R lowering kit.

They were the first thing I swapped out when I bought it! Laughing

I went with the OE/stock height Boge springs and shocks all around (new from The Bus Depot).

I wanted to have the original Single Cab payload capabilities and I like the way it now rides and handles; "perky" when empty, stable when loaded.

The H&R's were OK... It steered like it was on rails but the ride was much more harsh. It also had red Koni shocks that I probably could have tweeked but... Sold the H&R/Koni package to a guy who drove down from BC.

As mentioned in previous threads, the Michelin Agilis tires are firm, firm, firm! so I run them at 35 psi on the Single Cab to save my teeth. Laughing

That is swweeeet!! Must be the cleanest sika today!

But the one I'm looking for has the area between the tail lights blacked out and I think it has chrome bumpers.

Looks great and sounds like it is what you are looking for.
Someday I will get a Syncro Sika and do it up.
One of my favorite models for sure.

Wow that is clean. I'm on Bainbridge as well and new to the VW club. I'd love to meet up and check it out!

Yes, I do like blue sikas. I regret selling the one I had. Syncro with AAZ and had just completed the three knob conversion when we got pregnant with nr two. I couldnt see two childrens seats in the sika so I sold it. Stupid, stupid, stupid...

I love that Single Cab. Where the rubber bumper covers stock, or added? Where do I get some?
Thanks
Tony

Rubber bumper "covers"? I don't see any like that on either truck...

Perhaps you are referring to the rubber impact strips? I believe they were standard on North American/US DOT Vanagons/Transporters and optional in the rest of the world.

If this is what you are looking for, check the samba classifieds. Lots of folks are installing aftermarket bumpers so decent used are available. The flimsy stock bumpers will get trashed by a wayward shopping cart but the impact strips survive! Rolling Eyes
