Stupid IPod, I meant:

Its also gonna have a 30mm Gene Berg full flow oil pump, remote HP1 filter, deep sump and a large fan assisted external cooler fitted between the chassis rails.

EASY TURBO!! Back up a couple of steps.....

Engle FK-8 you should be using ENGLE LIFTERS, not scat.
You DO NOT need straight cut gears with that cam/dual valve spring combo. Unless you like the gear whine.
40IDF's with L5/FK-8 is not the best match, you'll choke it at higher rpm's.
MSD ignition - waste of money on a street engine.
You DO NOT need a 30mm oil pump, a 26mm is more than enough even with an external oil cooler.
For a Bus and what it typically is used for, I think a FK-8 cam is a little too much.....unless you are drag racing it a lot?? Cool, but not what a Bus is normally used for.

and that fk8 with the bug pack 1.4 will probably get you into coil bind ,might want to get the springs that will handle a lot of lift& also use some 1.33 rockers. the 1.4's my work but uit all needs to be set up right, just doing the math wont do.some 1.4's check out at more than 1.54!!

Did i miss the heads?

Agreed the 40 IDFs are too small.

30mm pump should be 26mm

Shuffle pin is not needed nor ares traight cut gears.

Glenn, he has DRD L5 heads listed.

I'd guess 125 - 130 HP max. If those 40IDF's have 28mm venturis then it just isn't going to be able to breathe much past 4500 rpm.
