I picked up a seat for the bus. Very nice springs and frame. The cover is really nice also. These suckers are expensive! I am going to leave all the frames in original paint and have new covers made that will match the originals.

Went to Havasu today to drop off the rear and middle seats to have them recovered. I was really excited to see the bus and super happy to see how the paint looked after being polished a bit. Hope to take the bus to the OCTO show this year.
rear corner on the lift
Bottom of the bus. Very heavy undercoating done years ago has kept the bus rust free. Where the coating is gone, I can see red overspray.
The front has a two extra hole for an antenna that will be filled. Going to have the correct emblem put on and then have the front resprayed to match the rest of the bus.
I figured out how to post bigger pictures too. |
