Nope- mayans, end of world, solar flares, zombies...
it is a yearly event that will likely keep on going. |

I know it's really really early, but since this thread came up again, anyone know if there is going to be a mogfest 2013?
I doubt I'll have a syncro by then but it would be fun to go down just to watch, maybe I'll bring my dirt bike to play.
Occasionally I have dreams of building a rig where i take a full size chevy/ford/dodge diesel 4x4 without the body, trade the front for rear axles, flip them if needed so I have a rear engine front drive setup, then shorten the frame/driveshaft to that of a vanagon's and modify a vanagon body to sit on top of it. That's probably the most likely way I'd get into a real 4x4 VW. Syncro stuff is too expensive to break!
but anyone know if this is going to happen again? |

Hilarious, Noganav!
I think you are correct about the rims being AMG. They belong to Bob, 'PNW Westy Owner'. _________________ '85 Syncro Westy |

Wow, nice pics! Anyone know who owns this beauty? I'd love to know about the rims. Looks like they could be AMG Monoblocks.
This is a classic example of the male brain. "This can't be more than a few thousand pounds. I'll just pull her back over." Love it
