I produced an awarding winning video of MOGFEST 2012 and have come to realize that Bozo Zesty had used his middle finger to show his ability to distort
some high quality video and still photos. After 4 hours of editing a 7.5 minute video I now get to go re-edit the video to get Bozo Zesty out of the video.
Thanks Bozo
|
Dude, that's what even Everett Barnes calls the Samba Salute.
Nice clown though...
Oh, and I call BS on the award winning video
Post it up. |
No BS here Pal. I will re-post it after I cut Bozo out of all the pictures and video. It will take me like 2 hours to do and recreate. Thanks once again Bozo |
Whatever it takes
Award winning prior to ever being seen by the masses... |
You call BS on my video? Do you think all I do is take stills of you and your finger antics when I stand in the middle of the pit with an orange vest and blinky light on? Think again Bozo.
It will be a far stretch better then the you post up, after I spend more time now to re-produce it, thanks again I can always count on you to be you But then everyone can. Classic Jeffery |
Thanks Friend. What's a middle finger between friends? It is the Samba Salute! Sensitive much?
Let's see this thing already
I always enjoy your videos. I don't have the patience or attention span for editing. It's a well known Zesty character flaw
Oh, and one always must have a hand on the oh sh!t handle while riding with David. Please remove one of Bozo's hands now. Continuity error _________________ Happiness=Portland, Oregon in the rearview mirror! |

Should I do it?

Regarding FrankenSuby's axle failure, it is worth noting that the stronger 930 axles may be rotationally stiffer and allow for much higher peak axle windup forces. Axles are the shock absorbers of the drivetrain and we used to regularly test powertrains to be sure the axle would twist to absorb shocks like a tire spinning in air and hooking up on a rock. An axle is constantly twisting to absorb drivetrain forces even in normal street driving. By doing that, a stock axle lowers the peak force on things like diff gears and CV joints.
In my offroad experience, the conditions described are exactly when people often break components - spinning tires that suddenly hook up and create torque forces way above the engine's actual rated torque. Bang. I hate that sound...

JC, thanks for the vid of MF '12. One of these days I'll make it back out for the event, but in the meantime I'll relive it through the photos and vids.
Pete, you were all over that pit - and to think that's a daily driver! Ever get that rear locker set up? I think it should be on the list for '13. _________________ '85 Westy |

Yes, my propshaft skid plate is bent to sh*t. So is my brand new propane tank which replaced the one I destroyed last year. I definitely need a stringer skid plate and side rails. My prop is actually hanging under the plate in one spot now. I added a decoupler for this year which made a huge difference. My goal for next year is to add front and rear lockers. The one time I had to be pulled out this year I would have been able to do with a rear locker. Pretty minimal on the carnage this year though. _________________ 89 Syncro Westy - GW 2.5, now with a double knob job
