I wish they would quit creating all these 36hp parts. Building a fast 36hp car is getting too easy Just kidding, great to see all these parts being brought into production.

There's a guy currently selling a new speedwell supercharger on the Internet patterned after the pepco design.Although he's claiming only 100 were made and all are sold out. Maybe just a selling scheme? I would of posted a link but thought that may be frowned upon. |

I am aware of what you are speaking about.
To put it nicely, the sold out part is incorrect. _________________ How to Post Photos

great for sails!!! there sold out but I have 2 in the back just for me, but if you have to have 1,HMM whats it worth....... I try to make it a rule to not buy stuff till the "holy shit look what's out now" is wore off & the problems worked out on the 2nd or 3rd production run and the $$$ is lower too. with that said yes I hav a set of the first gen hpmx 44's on my bug, got them shortly after the 2nd add I saw in the mag.and they work flawlessly every day.hmm how many years has that been??? crap Im getten old. |

that's awesome, thanks for posting this up! particularly the repro Pepco and ratio rockers.
Great that Mark and Ray are getting/have already gotten all the manufacturing figured out! Hopefully this will be financially successful for them, so they will bring more vintage performance products to market. |

Picked up a pair of manifolds at the Bug-In from Ray and I must say they are nice! You can mount 40P-11 or webers, they have two differen't bolt patterns. Also checked out the Pepco repro, his Speedwell valve covers and the soon to be released ratio rockers, nothing but ....QUALITY.
Splitpile, nice to see you at the show and sorry about bustin your chops, I asked Ray to do it, all in good fun. Now to get those carbs freshened up and mounted! |

That is if you could actually get a return email from Speedwell and buy one. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the Ebay ad seems almost like a marketing tool to create demand for a product without a supply (guerrilla marketing 101) . It says in the ad that the entire production run is sold out, weather or not that is true is yet to be seen. I applaud whoever's pocket it was that these products got funded by to become a reality. I hope that more people get an opportunity to buy these superchargers (myself included) when they actually go on sale on the Speedwell website. _________________ 30 years experience in the sales of new and used auto parts!

Ray owns the name and rights to Speedwell USA and the Logo thats why the logo is on there, plus there his parts. |
