Ronnie, I'm sending you out a pair of new valve covers to play with that I just made today. On this set I added three areas for vent plumbing one on the top and both sides and fit much better then the old ZEUS. Also played with the finish alittle blasting and then polishing the fins. Not sure I like the look but what the hell I'll make more. Have alook I'll mail them out tomorrow.
PS. these sould have room for the high rockers.

Thank you. these will look good on the big engine with the big rocker ratio. So are they called ZEUS, RACER or RACER by ZEUS?
ps. Still working on the sump? _________________ Stocking distributor of "The Funky Green Panels"

Hello-
I received my new Denzel repro pulley from Speedwell USA today. My order was promptly shipped and very well packed. The pulley itself is very well made. I do however, have one small concern. It looks like the "O" on the pulley is a little off center. Given the attention to detail of this piece, I suspect that this was intentional. Perhaps the originals were like this, or maybe it's a way to differentiate originals from repros. Nevertheless, I'm very happy with my purchase.
Cheers,

The Speedwell Denzel Pulleys are exact reproductions of the original Denzel pulley. The "O" is not centered just like the original was not. In fact that "O" really should be a zero. Ray went through painstaking measures to reproduce an exact copy. So it's an off-center "O" and not a "zero". |

Wow! You don't see that every day... a mostly authentic WWII 25hp Kubelwagen outfitted with an American made reproduction of 1950's design roots-type blower. I like it! |

Well let see one man shop, so machining blanks making sure they are either 1.25 or 1.4. Trying a set on a car, making instruction sheets, retesting the hardness of the part, running around to get this done making sure parts that are being manufactured and all being done, researching other stuff that he can't talk about because if it falls through or they fail people will gripe and say he is a flake, assembling superchargers and exhaust, making the Okrassa manifolds for Weber.
Oh and having a job that pays the regular bills.
So three months is nothing when a few of us waited 12 years for this project. But Ray said he hopes the Rockers will be ready in August at the latest.
Picked it up and installed it and drove it. Reported stuff to Ray, and enjoying the ride. _________________ 5 lbs into 3 lbs bag every day

I think he meant it's only 3 months till World of Speed, not being an ass wanting them now. I guess we won't get them to run this year

I'm also waiting and will set up the supercharged engine for the ratio rockers for WOS in the VEE. If worse comes to worse I'll pull the set of the SC engine at WOS and put them on the Vee engine, of course maybe Tom Bruch could loan me his ratio rockers in a pinch!
Besides Ray making these parts he also has a full time job, when something is done everyone will know. Hopefully he'll be at OCTO/CLASSIC weekend so I can hold the prototype set in my hand again, or who knows, maybe he'll have a couple sets there _________________ Stocking distributor of "The Funky Green Panels"

Saw it this weekend and ray's supercharger came out awesome. It is a little too new looking out of the box, but my bet is that with a couple month's use, it will look just right
I wish I still had Kermit the oval. This would have been great for that car

Hello-
I just received my Denzel repro full flow oil cover from Speedwell USA. It is very well made, and only cost 40 USD (plus shipping). Thanks Ray!
Cheers,

hi, Im Jim. I work for Ray. as soon as I get a chance I will put a degree wheel and a dial indicator on a motor and take some pics. but for now......
the pic has the wrong date.
approximately
stock lift = .250
1.4 rockers = .360
this is nowhere near coil bind.

That is excellent PR Jim. Communication is one of the secrets to success and it is evident from the photos that you and Ray are deep into finishing product. Everyone is anxiously waiting.
