Hi Adan,You posting on the Samba is in bad taste and needs to be corrected, I told you early on that I could no longer get the scraper reproductions and offered a rebuffed OEM or a refund, you stated you wanted the OEM, when the OEM one came back from the chroming guy, you stated you had found another one and I stated I would issue you a refund. When I went to issue you a refund the refund button is no longer there because of the date of the transaction. I contacted and waited for a PayPal supervisor to over-ride the system and issue the refund. In one case I missed the call because I was out and my assistant did not know how to handle it and then with a busy schedule and the holidays (Veteran's Day and Thanksgiving) I was not able to get it done. I need you to remove your false statement, as in, (lies and buyer beware

I told Mr. Miquel Valdez, that I no longer had the reproductions and they were not available on the market at the time. I offered him an OEM which I would send to the re-chroming place to be rebuffed or a refund, he stated he wanted the OEM ones. When you send something to the re-chroming place, you have to wait based on their schedule. When the scrapers came back, Mr. Valdez stated he no longer wanted them and wanted a refund. I went to issue a refund and could not because of the date of the transaction, the refund button was no longer there. I had to call a PayPal supervisor and have them get back to me, so they could over-ride the system and issue a refund. While I am waiting for this to happen Mr. Valdez goes on a slander campaign against us. I asked him nicely to stop and I would issue the refund, what I got from him was more arrogance. We will not be subjected to blackmail from him!

I just saw what you did now and putting up all our email is what they call hitting below the belt. That is what a low low person would do. It does show, that you are not waiting 3 months for your refund as you first stated. I want you to fix what wrong you are doing, I am not the fault of this delay, I cannot issue a refund, because of the age of the transaction, it does not have a refund button, therefore, I have to wait for a PayPal supervisor to do it.

We gave Mr. Barbabosa a free quarter window kit and shipped the bulb-holder, which he is not telling you, also emails ([email protected]), does not belong to me, we changed our ([email protected]) email, because someone hacked into it and changed the password, making it not accessible. We wanted to work with Mr. Barbabosa, however, he instead went on a campaign of smearing us, otherwise known as a hatchet job. We believe He also had his friend in Texas post a complaint, stating he had problems with us. When in fact he asked for a refund on a part we did not have and we gave it to him the very next day. We will not be blackmailed by Mr. Barbabosa or his friends. Not nice people if you ask me.

I am sorry for all the delays, however, issues keep coming up and I will not send them until they are perfect. I did not like the way they finished the threading and am now getting stainless coils to weld in. This has been a learning experience for me as well with these bulb holders. However, consider that they are almost impossible to come by and if I send you pics of them your will see they are beautifully finished.

My ad is not misleading, the people doing the work have made on mistake after another and I have had to find the solutions to make it right. The bulb holders are made of pot metal and with time the metal becomes brittle making the threads break off. I could have found an easy solution and sent them, only to have them fall off again when you have to change the bulbs. Instead I went with doing it right even at greater expense and time. I have not seen any NOS complete sets out there and it is very hard to get a complete set with the Hella amber lenses - rings - new contacts - stainless studs - stainless German screws exact to the OEM spec. I have learned a lot from this and now know exactly what to look for when I do others.

This was never about sticking anyone, this is about a bunch of peaple that delivered bulbholders with many issues for me to fixed and a learning experince of months finding the tools parts and solutions to fix them, it may seem like an off-full amount of time. However, every time I though I had them right another issue arose. They have been truly reengineered and all the issues with them have been addressed. My bulbholders will be the best around. They have stainless steel inserts where the rings are screwed in, not the pot metal ones that break, they have German slotted screws just like the originals only in stainless steel, they have stainless steel studs with brass nuts, new contacts with stainless steel screws holding them. They are the best and it took time to fix all the issues to get them there. If I knew, it was as much work as they turned out to be, I would not have gotten myself into it. However, I wanted to get it right. I could have impervised and gotten them out to you earlier, however, in the long run you would have paid the price.

Some parts may take longer to get than others, I usually inform the customer if there is going to be a delay.

Hi Adan,You posting on the Samba is in bad taste and needs to be corrected, I told you early on that I could no longer get the scraper reproductions and offered a rebuffed OEM or a refund, you stated you wanted the OEM, when the OEM one came back from the chroming guy, you stated you had found another one and I stated I would issue you a refund. When I went to issue you a refund the refund button is no longer there because of the date of the transaction. I contacted and waited for a PayPal supervisor to over-ride the system and issue the refund. In one case I missed the call because I was out and my assistant did not know how to handle it and then with a busy schedule and the holidays (Veteran's Day and Thanksgiving) I was not able to get it done. I recently contacted Julian because he was offering 60-61 turn signal switches for beetles. Since I had dealt with him before, I contacted him asking if he infact had one in stock before I purchased one. He assured that he had 2 coming in within the week and that 1 was spoken for, 1 was up for grabs. I paypal'd him the money that day. A couple weeks went by, I asked if it had come in yet and he said there was a mishap with his supplier. Ok, I get it. When are the good ones coming in then? No real answer. That was about 2 months ago. Luckily, when I sent the money via paypal, I sent it as a business transaction so I could file a claim this time. Last time I sent as friends and family, which means no claims. I filed a claim 2 weeks ago, he never responded to it and yesterday I got my money back. He came through for me once, but I'll never buy from him again. Guys that do business like this shouldn't be allowed on thesamba. We need good sellers, Julian is not one of those good sellers. I would not recommend purchasing anything at all from this person. No communication unless you initiate it, and you'll get the run around. Hope this helps someone into the future.

I tried very hard to get that switch for Joel and the supplier sent 2 wrong switches and now tells me he will not have anymore for months. I have been trying to find another supplier and was going to communicate with Joel on this matter, however, since, he goes on a campaign of slandering me, I will at this point just drop the matter. I think it shows that Joel is not a person of good character. It should suffice to say that I have sold thousands of parts in my almost 10 years on the Samba and have only 3 issues.

I was on a search for the switch for you and came up with a few choices, I was going to give you your refund and refer you to them. You had my number you could have communicated, the fact is you like to slander and that shows you are a person of poor character.

Since, I have been doing this, there are always problems with suppliers, you put an order in, when they tell you they have the product and then they come back to you with sold out, back-ordered. That is the nature of this business. I always try to find alternatives for my clients and was in the process of doing the same for you. However, I now stopped, since, I will not deal with your slander. I did have another choice for you.
