So during my camping trip, I decided to peel off the bra and see what the Van would look like without. Lo and Behold Emblems on both side signifying that it is a Wolfburg addition. Yippe, the person I bought it from did not know this. My question is: What makes a Wolfburg different from other similar Westys?

What year is your van?

The answer to your question depends on that...

Nice, I've also got a 84 Wolfsburg...

I looked into this a bit when I got my van and I'm pretty sure the only difference in the 84's is that they glued a Wolfsburg emblem on the side and they offered the two tone paint.. Laughing

What about the rear A/C unit instead of the storage space, do you know if that is Wolfburg specific?

Nope, pretty sure that was a dealer installed option at the time of purchase.

You've also got the cloth interior that everyone got in 1985, and probably dark brown rather than light brown tables.

" Badges? We don't need no stinking badges!"- Blazing Saddles
Actually, I seriously regret the day I practically gave away my '86 Wolfy Weekender w/ a thrown rod. Shoulda rented a pick up and dolly trailer and towed it 300 miles home and begged a neighbor for driveway space.

What size was the bra?
as far as I can tell the wolfy in '84 did had the 85 interior (front seat with arm rest) Power steering (some with no logo on the horn button) and must had AC and two tone paint.
