ok im looking to buy another bus and i think that the one i like the best is a bay window ( but im not toataly sure if the bus i like is called a bay window). i know the ones i like r from like 69 to 79 i dont want a camper, i want a passenger. if you guys have a pictur of a a bay window or n e thing will you post it or something. also if there r n e experts about the bay's what do you think about them. r they a good bus? thanks you guys

Check the "Gallery" (tab link at the top of this page) for photos of 1968-79 busses. Most significant change from 1968-79 was in 1972 when the engine changed from the upright Beetle type to the flat or pancake Porsche type. The body style changed some, but not significantly. i have a 76 buss already ( i know whats in store for me ) i just am wanting some more info on the the "bay". thanks for relying guys!!!

Well, then you have a bay, it refers to the front windshield, being one pice as opposed to a 67 and earlier splittie with two front windshields. Jeremy |
