I'm posting this because none of the threads I read mentioned anything like this. Ive got a 66 11 window that I have been putting back together. Upon reconnecting the wiring, none of the turn signals or brake lights worked. After going through the Trouble shooting guide on Type2.com I determined there was no voltage to terminal 15 on the 9pin relay.
At the fuse block, I had 12v across the fuse. But on the backside where the wires connect, it read 0v. Measuring the resistance from the fuse on the front to the back where the wire connects I noticed there was no circuit.
Turns out there are two seperate pieces that make up the terminal. One had pulled away from the other and after a bit of pushing and pulling I was able to make it work. Now ive got lights that work again.
I hope someone else will find this helpful. |

Good info. That is why I always solder my fuse boxes. _________________ Your Vanagon sucks, Stop waving at me.
