If I have a wedgemated crank with no matching flywheel, can a machinist just make me a flywheel to match? I'm not sure if everyone uses different angles or if it's all uniform for everyone. How much would making a flywheel cost if it's just as simple as machining a new flywheel? _________________ "A petrol engine can start readily, run smoothly and give every appearance of being in good order, without necessarily being in good tune." - Colin Campbell, "The Sportscar Engine" |

Your in LA, don't bother with figuring what will and will not work.
Just take the crank to DeMello machine, or DPR machine and have them make up
the correct set up to match your crankshaft. Done. |

It should be no problem for good machinest. I just run a last word across the angle to duplicate it and make a new flywheel to match. |
