Is the cab door sliding window latch plates different on a barndoor to that of a post barndoor? I think they might be.
If they are different does anyone repop them?

Link to Wolfsburg West part number for reference.

Thanks in advance.

Yes, the notches in which the foot of the sliding glass butterfly catch falls into are spaced differently. You can use a later one, if needed, as the first notch (closest to the vent wing) is in the same spot, so the window will latch closed.

I'd be interested in making some repros or buying a few sets if someone is willing to make them. Most of the BD busses I've had, they are in pretty sad condition.

Ken.

Thanks Ken,
I have had some made and will be doing some more. It may seem strange me asking the question after having them done, but I wanted to be sure that I didnt have a freak set on my bus. Shocked

How bizzare I have just had a call to say my new batch will be with Friday.

They will be made from correct gauge mild steel and the 3 x fixings holes will not be drilled, just centre dotted for reference.
I will double check everything before submitting for sale. If all is okay I would say the cost will be in region of £15.00 a pair + postage and will be advertised in the classifieds.

Cheers, Sean.
