My metal under the rear bumper mounts is rotted away on my 63. I would REALLY appreciate it if some of the experienced welding guys hear would have a discussion of the proper ways to fix this. Thanks

Geoff

The bumper mounts on my 64 were rusted out too. Id avoid trying to piece things together and replace them. WW has what you need. Pretty easy to replace and it looks great done.

about page 10.
dude knows his shit.
I spent some time last night trying to suss out what to do next, I thought about cutting the panel above the engine bay side trays, to save having to remove the trays(lazy i know!!) but really drilling out the spot welds and taking the side trays out is the only way to get a really factory finish.
