Yup.
The clear plastic piece faces down when mounted and it collects dust/debris before the air gets to the air cleaner assembly.

Check the classifieds. Now that you have a syncro part you are looking to get rid of the 2wd |

I had that thought way before I knew that I had a Syncro part. There is one down the road from me just sitting there, the guy bought it a few years ago drove it home and started having engine troubles and parked it. Its been there ever since, I send him an email every few months seeing if he is ready to sell it yet and he's not, I will get it eventually (I hope). He only payed $2000 with a good driveline, apparently the engine is having fuel injection issues. _________________ Nick

This just fell on my foot whilst driving. I think I know what it is, but I’m looking for confirmation. Thanks!

Sure looks like a jam nut. Is there one in the steering setup? Can't imagine it just falling out if it is tho.... _________________ '91 Westfalia, Bordeaux Red Pearl 2.1L 2wd Auto

The second part is for the antenna to provide a counterforce to the nut on the sheet metal. |

That’s my guess, as well. I did replace the antenna 25 years ago when purchased. That part probably sat atop the ground trees for 110,000 miles before dropping today. _________________ '87 Westy Weekender - daily driver on salt-free roads

Not sure if this is the right place for this post, but certainly someone must know what kind of Girling caliper this is? I think I'm in need of a replacement, but I can't seem to find the exact match any where online...
It fits to my 2wd 1986 camper van.
best,
Jack
