Yup.
The clear plastic piece faces down when mounted and it collects dust/debris before the air gets to the air cleaner assembly.

I had that thought way before I knew that I had a Syncro part. There is one down the road from me just sitting there, the guy bought it a few years ago drove it home and started having engine troubles and parked it. Its been there ever since, I send him an email every few months seeing if he is ready to sell it yet and he's not, I will get it eventually (I hope). He only payed $2000 with a good driveline, apparently the engine is having fuel injection issues.

This just fell on my foot whilst driving. I think I know what it is, but I’m looking for confirmation. Thanks!

The second part is for the antenna to provide a counterforce to the nut on the sheet metal.

That’s my guess, as well. I did replace the antenna 25 years ago when purchased. That part probably sat atop the ground trees for 110,000 miles before dropping today.

Not sure if this is the right place for this post, but certainly someone must know what kind of Girling caliper this is? I think I'm in need of a replacement, but I can't seem to find the exact match any where online...
It fits to my 2wd 1986 camper van.

best,
Jack

Looks like this ATE one here:

https://www.vwbusshop.de/epages/GuenzlClassicParts...remssattel

Does yours say "Girling" on it?

This is a Girling Caliper the 4 bolts design looks similar to the ATE above.
https://www.brickwerks.co.uk/t3-parts/brakes/front...right.html

This looks more like yours with the logo in the center of the caliper.

This is a caliper rebuild kit from Van-Cafe.
https://www.vancafe.com/251698471A-p/251698471a.htm

This is Bernd Jagers shop in Germany which has both the calipers and rebuild kits. Everything you need here.
