Hi all, I am reassembling an engine that I foolishly tore apart from my 69 westy, but according to the guy who gave me the bus the engine might have originally come from a later model Squareback, not positive. Anyway, I have a 30 PICT-2 carburetor and it has some odd attachments, I'm not sure what they are. There's a spout type attachment to the bottom of the carb, see below.... What is it and how does it all go together?

Thanks

Part of an aftermarket EGR system used for California smog compliance, it would be handy for a 71 if you needed a vacuum tap for the brakes but useless on a 69.
