Hey there, my dad had me start him a profile on here because he had an e-mail sent to him about this van being restored. he had bought the tail lights and third brake light off of this exact van 15-18 years ago and still has them im trying to upload a link to the picture but am not sure if it will work. he's been with volkswagon as a tec for 38 years now and has collected alot of parts these just happen to be some http://s481.beta.photobucket.com/user/manning1990/...9655733275 |

Incredible story, and amazing that the previous owner kept this bus so long. He is from a generation where things weren't just thrown away like they are now a days. Best of luck with this bus.
What did you say to the Chief of Customs to make him change his mind? I bet those were the two longest days of your life waiting for an answer! _________________ Wanted : January '57 Palm Green Sand Green Bus Parts - Middle and Rear Seat Frames - flat back. Not always evident to cross the border with an old VW ...sometimes you needs to have some tricks. Having them registered is our country needs sometime imagination. I had to find a solution in the past with an oval that came from US to Canada

I wish I had some NOS parts you need as I'd gladly sell them to see them go to this bus.... it is one of the most worthy projects for NOS parts that I have ever seen! |
