Incredible story, and amazing that the previous owner kept this bus so long. He is from a generation where things weren't just thrown away like they are now a days. Best of luck with this bus.

What did you say to the Chief of Customs to make him change his mind? I bet those were the two longest days of your life waiting for an answer!

Not always evident to cross the border with an old VW Very Happy ...sometimes you needs to have some tricks. Having them registered is our country needs sometime imagination. I had to find a solution in the past with an oval that came from US to Canada Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

As i found a nice 52 front clip which have the full width reinforcement behind dashboard in great shape, i am willing to trade the NOS one (wich can be seen on the picture below) for others NOS metal parts i need... Razz
