Lazaa, looking forward to that movie too, so sorry about getting robbed. I've often through of renting a space for my bus/tools and such to save time and work on my projects but because people suck I rather shuffle my crap in and out of my small garage. I do hope you have some kind of security system set up now. This is going to be epic so hang in there and know we have your back, but trust no one.

Hello !
Last week I moved the bus to an abandonned factory in a remote location to make a movie about the bus in "as is" condition before it goes to the welder.
That was quite an adventure as we had to brought lots of stuff to make the movie I had in mind... and even though we secured it, the building has been visited one night by fuckers who stole my generator, lights, tools, but thankfully only took the Canadian rear Volkswagen script and let all the other parts there
Video will be published after summer. Hope you will like it.
By the way, I am still looking for a few parts to complete the bus. Hope someone can help !
- 10 louver trims
- 2 beauty rings
- rear floor mat
- middle seat mountings plates between seat and mat
- 4 middle seat clamps (29 numbered )
Feel free to let me know if you have some of those things
The front clip is at the welder already and he will begin to work on it next week. I will bring the bus to him as soon as I've done a photo studio shooting in "as is" condition for the book... (if I find a studio nearby...).
Cheers

Have you considered simply starting with a nicer bus? I don't know what your skills are, but the race is easier if you can see the finish line. If you are not a runner, don't start off doing a marathon. |

Big update after a long silence, most of the NOS parts are now welded all around the bus
Some bodywork is still needed but hey, that looks like a bus again and all should be done before christmas then the assembly can begin
The NOS cargo doors have been used to make a perfect body around them but they are now available for sale as the original doors from the bus will be restored.
Cheers |

Thanks for the support !

Because saving as much original metal, paint and patina really matter and is the only way to give a bus some character :
Don't choose the easy way !

Hello,
Indeed I will be in need of money for some bigger projects in 2023 so unfortunately i can't keep it and i'm open to offers on the Deluxe. Feel free to send PMs if interested ! With a bit of luck it can go back to Canada
Here are a few pics BTW
All trims including louver trims or beauty rings are original off course... also the hubcaps are OG paint ones :
All the interior (except floor mats) are original with correct 51-53 deluxe seats with leather pipping, dark brown interior panels, all OG aluminium bits, dash parts, #29 parts... Etc :
Don't miss your only chance to own a true EARLY deluxe with such a unique patina !! :
