I was reading more about Shelby after watching Ford V Ferrari...
pretty sure its the same race and same bus, silver?

Id say you are correct, Riverside Raceway mid 60 era. Another ford ranch wagon as well.

The son of the guy I bought a 1970 Westy Camper from shared these 2 vintage images from his family collection. He writes....
"The truck my father had before I was born, was a '57 maybe? Last, my Aunt with my grandparents new 1955 VW, they drove it out to California and picked up my father when he got out of the service. That was sold for parts c. 1985 to a man from PA."
The 55 sounded like a sad ending... He isn't sure where the single cab went.

I just saw this photo at the Brooklyn Museum of Art today for the Pierre Cardin exhibit and I was so happy to spot this bus with his model. The label stated that it was take in 1957. Can anyone identify the year of the bus with just this small amount of image?

Could be barndoor, as I would expect to see an engine hatch line on the right.
