glad somebody chased it down. I grew up in sight of the Rhoen mountains, and my uncle was a "sailplane pioneer". I know y'all call it soaring...
He built his own engine, he worked for Sachs in Schweinfurt, they had a license for the Wankel engine. He competed with it for decades. I am not 100% sure, but i think it was a AS K14

checked it and found an article about him on his 85th birthday, still flying

pretty clever mod for a country where they drove on the left side of the road at the time and also sat on the left. Prolly why it has a left hand side treasure chest door.

Yes, the Albert Heijn is a major grocery store concern who are operating worldwide as Ahold.

The upper pic is taken in a city called The Hague and the bottom one is taken in Rotterdam.

It's absolutely a refrigerated truck, "Koelwagen" written on the side means refrigerated truck.
