Modern wannabees/reenactors?

Nice catch...I to thought it looked recently and not 60/70's

Looks OG dank to me. What parts look too new?

I zoomed in on the passers by at far right. They look to be wearing modern clothing.

The Chimnea in the left foreground doesn't look period to me either.. I know the basic design of Chimneas is old, but that one looks like the type of thing you'd buy from a garden centre. They became fashionable over here in the last 10-15 years.

I don't use instragram, but I believe that it has filters to make digital photos look like they were taken with a crappy camera back in the day. The image has that feel to me.

I think the biggest tell is the COVID masks for sale hanging above their heads.

In my split decision to save the photo, I was looking at the background at the left, which looks like a period hippy bus. If the photo had been cropped just a little wider, we could see if the cat at the right was sending a text message.

Animation of the event. Including buses.

These buses were also on standby for “Close Encounters of the Third Kind” if the lights and Moog had failed...haha

The answer is no. This is from year 2009, the making of Taking Woodstock.

I wasn't criticising. It was a genuine question.

Growing up I was a Y kid, but our Y had a Dodge van, not a bus.

The camp is still open.

Where would one obtain a white canvas cargo cover for a DC in 1984?
