I never knew they were based in Isleworth.
Strange that the bus has a TIR customs label on it. I always associate that with sealed trucks. How could they claim a bus was customs-sealed? _________________ Andy

G.T.F.O.O.H.!!! That is AWESOME! Being a flight attendant for a living, I wanna be the first to volunteer to work that VW flight! I'll give every NOS blue box part in that plane a free cocktail! Never new they had planes for delivering parts!

if the rear hatch and cargo doors are locked, which is easy to do, and if they have a cab divider installed, i think it could be custom sealed. _________________ regards

A friend in the 505 sent me this cool pic of her sister in Denmark. She talked to her Dad (who is in his 80s) and he remembers those times. Her Dad’s job took the family to Europe 1965-1968. Dad told her that they bought the bus new in 1965 and had the Dormobile conversion done. They traveled around Europe and brought it back to Albuquerque with them in 1968. They used it a few more years, then sold it. She remembers they had fun camping, that it had a “wimpy engine” and the girls would get out and push.

I wonder how many guests gouged an eye out or hooked thier head on that rats nest hanging off the edge of the roof before that idea got kicked to the curb?
Cool looking place though, I want to stay there _________________ Rust NEVER sleeps and stock never goes out of style.
