Great Ocean Road is a spectacular drive though Victoria and South Australia. Worth a drive if you are over in that neck of the woods |

I have been there last October, it was really great but unfortunately there were no Split buses. |

I've always said that if I could only find a deluxe, it would have curtains and a bed! _________________ Some people are so busy being clever they don't have time enough to be wise. |

In Everett's gas pump photo the fill hose seems super long. May be an optical thing but the bus looks to be parked a ways back from the pump. Seems like most people always park like they want their vehicle to mate with the pump. Killer photo. |

I seem to remember hearing that there were at at least two of these buses, and one of them is still in existence. There was a guy who hauled a dis-assembled pre-restoration 23 to OCTO on a trailer at least a couple times to show off his huge project that was supposed to be one of these buses. This was maybe 5-10 years ago. I hope that the bus gets restored and re-logo'd. I would certainly pay a quarter to go for a ride in it. _________________ .

My third aircooled VW and my first bus.
It's a 21F firetruck which left the factory on 9-1-1964 and was registered the first time on 9-10-1964. I bought it in the village where it served as the only firetruck for 24 Years. |
