An acquaintance started to tell me stories of her 'old bus'. I'm always a bit skeptical. But today she surprised me and brought in some very very cool legit photos of her old VW's (plus some other way cool cars). Really made my day at work. Sorry about the crappy cellphone pictures.
Shasta in the background not really visible in my cellphone photo.
I was told this one is on Highway 2 in WA. I don't recognize this stretch though. Any one know it?

A lot of surf pictures:

I've seen a wide shot from the front of all these buses all line up in a semi circle with it's owner and his board next to their bus. This photo must have been the chaos of getting everybody ready for that shot. _________________ Prosit!

Two things stand out to me in this excellent photo.
One, the bus has a rear bumper.
Two, that bumper appears to be almost perfectly adjusted to sit level. It seems that most buses back then, and even today, suffer from one of those maladies. _________________ nothing |

That's a very young Don Fagen, lead singer, keyboards! Play "My Old School" (link below) off their crazy-fun summer of 73 "Countdown to Ecstasy" album and it's the fifth pic that pops up.
I'm guessing those are his old home pics from Passaic NJ, or something.

What do you think? I guess it could be, but I don't know for sure. _________________ Prosit!

Was sat in my bus when this dude in his 70s comes up and starts telling me how he had a bus and drove it to India in 1972 and toured around, I asked if he had any photos and the next day he dropped these to my work for me which was nice of him . He said he had a load more of his bus but has to find them .

Those little reflectors near the headlights look like the ones on South African buses. _________________ Rust NEVER sleeps and stock never goes out of style.

I will ask him more about it when I see him again , the plates aren't from here (Jersey Channel Islands). He has a little sticker just below the window looks like GBJ (Great Britain Jersey) |

India drives on the Left Hand Side same as UK. It looks a RHD bus. _________________ I only went to look at it!

Here’s a couple more pics Peter dropped in today , unfortunately I wasn’t there to ask him anything , I think they are the same bus due to the dents and the GBJ sticker in the same places although the plates are different.
Also looks like another bus door poking out in this pic .
