Interesting to see cut down hoops on a Single Cab in a period picture. |
I wonder if that's a Brazilian tilt since I think the photo is from Brazil
Example:
|
I was thinking it was a dutch picture. german and other european models, dutch style plates, etc. The studebaker is feasible in period as well _________________ regards

Yes, thanks for the info.
I mistakenly thought this was the guy that was posting lots of vintage photos from Brazil but that is someone else. _________________ How to Post Photos

Nope, same guy, but the photos shift between Brazil and NL. _________________ Rust NEVER sleeps and stock never goes out of style.

It's the guy from Brazil indeed who is posting the pictures (Jeferson Milão), but he is also posting Dutch pictures now.
You can recognise them by the black (in fact dark blue) licence plates with two letters and four numbers next to each other.
You can also find a lot of these pictures on this Dutch site from Volkswouter:

Yes, I recognised the number plate style as Dutch.
I've seen reference to the furniture van version with raised hoops as a European option, but not lowered ones.
I thought the lowered Brazilian ones came later too?
I guess they had the same problem as me and couldn't get it in a standard height garage. _________________ Andy

That Sergeant looks rather proud of himself, yet serious too, he's saving the world from reckless accessorization and ready to use whatever is in that holster on the batshit crazy soccer mom owner when she comes running out of the store screaming "it just expired!, and my husband put the blinkers on" _________________ Rust NEVER sleeps and stock never goes out of style.

Yes, it looks like a Green/Green Bus so original pinstriping.
Kombis and Standards had pinstriping from 58-down
A few people still have original paint Buses with striping but often it's faded or worn off from age. _________________ How to Post Photos

This one is interesting. There is a Late Bay in front of an Early Bay Panel Bus.
But the air scoops are rectangular, like a Late Bay Bus.
