Can anyone explain the trailer- is it for a street vendor selling baked goods on the street? Or a delivery trailer? What vehicle was pulling it- the van parked behind? It looks pretty unique with the window panels.

That does not look like to had been pulled by a car. It looks like it has a third wheel with a small motor on it and a handle which extends forward to steer the thing through the streets.

My guess would be that the contraption was used to sell backed goods from the thing.
