There were more cars than last year. Remember, last year it rained on and off from 6 AM until about 10 AM. Put a damper on attendance. We had about 360 cars on the lawn at 10 AM this year. 42 were judged (44 last year and 43 the year before). Thanks to all theat atteneded! |

What a day! High fives all the way around for all those that make it happen and contribute (Jeff Trask, Pete McNulty Don for the MC'ing and Jack Staggs for securing the site many moons ago). I got there real early and took some video of the cars rolling in and also the below pics of what interested me personally. I've only been to the Dana Point show the past 3 or 4 years, however my general impression was that this year's vibe seemed more laid back, maybe because there weren't as many cars being judged for full concours??? The other thing I experienced is that everyone who was standing by their car was really willing to talk about it. Heck I even saw a bunch of people talking with the owner of the Glockler, seemed like a real down to earth guy. Ok, enough rambling... the pics!

It had to be later in the day because there were no 9 series cars parked amongst the 356's when we left at 1 ish and the 356's did go all the way back to the lawn this year. A very good turnout.

I went last year, seems there were a whole lot more cars, that lawn was filled to the very back, or was the picture taken earlier in the day or toward the end?? _________________ Go Reds! Smash state!
