Your thread title confuses me. H6 Drivers? Aside from the vacuum for the brake booster coming from the engine, the engine doesn't have anything to do with how well the brakes work.

Well it does. Besides the added tail end weight it needs a better stop distance.
Say I'm in the throttle and a civilian cuts me off. How to not damage the V?
To those who cut off this incarnation... :fist: :fist:
This Vanagon gets Right Of Way.

Do the wheels lock up when you're slamming on the brakes, or does the pedal go to the floor without a lockup?

I run the SA kit in front and the GoWesty rears..
While I had the h6 they worked fine, just as they do with 2.5.
I don't ask anymore from the bigger brakes than I did with the stock brakes...the speed limits are still the same, 170 hp or 200 hp.
My driving habits are about the same too as when I had the wbx as well.
Unloaded doka with no sound deadening or rear seat...not as heavy as a van I guess
Always split the difference in distance between other motorists on the road...I don't get into situations where I get 'cut off' because I give a lot of room to drivers I see as driving sloppy, aggressive or angry.
