Well after years of tinkering with my van and lots of local weekend camping trips I am finally taking my first "international" week long trip with my van. I am off to Maine from Nova Scotia. Not as exotic as I hoped but none the less, a good trip planned.
I will be heading to Sunday River to do some Zip Lining before I raft a couple of rivers. So if you see a Westy with NS plates broken down on the side of the interstate, honks and throw me a cool one. _________________ 84 Westy

Have a great trip! I hope to head south for Transporterfest in October.
Have you looked into the water levels for rafting? I am in northern NB this week and the Restigouche looks like a gravel road. Not good...
Anyhow,enjoy the travels!

I believe the rivers I am running are controlled by a hydro dam. You ride the day time water release. I ran the upper Hudson River in Aug about 3 years ago the same way. Kind of neat. You have to stop every once and a while and have to wait for the water to catch up. _________________ 84 Westy

I've got a cold one for you if your van stalls or not
Don't sweat breaking down in Maine...especially near FAS in Harpswell.
Also van specialist in Poland Spring near Sunday River.
Beetleshop in Belfast...
Enjoy your trip! _________________ '87 WBWE FAS Gen V |
