Titlely confused

I guess Iwasnt satisfied with a 72 Weekender and a75 Vert, Iwent to the dark side and picked up a67 TR4a. Im in Jersey, did not get a title, and the car does not have a VIN. It has a commision no. But my question is, Has anyone gotten a reg. from Vermont or any other state and used it to get a title in Jersey? Im pulling out all the stops , reaching out to any and all Thanks

NJ sucks to get a title. I used a title company back in mid 2000's for a beetle convertible i had . The company is not getting such good reviews now. Do you have a bill of sale or a past registration?

Run it with registration from whatever state you can, in NJ.
Once NJ sees they're losing tax money, they may turn around.
