Sure jack the front of your bus up. Locate the little hole on your drum, then turn the wheel until you see an adjuster through the little hole. Now with a flat head screw driver adjust the brass adjuster up or down a few clicks until your brakes start to drag, then back off a click or two. I am new to busses so if this is wrong some one chime in, but this method worked for me. Smile

yeah, adjusting a few clicks till drag is fine but if the brakes are way out of adjustment then as soon as you drive it, there will be no drag. Better to adjust both adjusting stars in the drum then pump the brakes, then readjust them again. That way the shoes will find their sweet spot and probably allow you to get a click or 2 more. All depends on if the brake adjustment was maintained or not.

See the "Technical" button at top right?

Hover your mouse cursor over that.

A list will pop up there.

Left click on the "Owner's Manuals".

Next webpage left click on the "Owner's/parts manuals in the type 2 bus column.

Next web page left click on your year of Owner's Manual and language you can read. Index at the back is great way to find what you want.

LOTS OF NEED TO KNOW INFO IN THERE! Including stuff that will keep you from suddenly needing to rebuild the engine!!
