It doesn't matter what oil you use. What matters are drives like these.
Robbie

Of course it matters what oil you use. Rolling Eyes What are ya, a maroon? Let's see ya run olive oil.

Celebrated Buddy’s 51st birthday today with a wash, clay bar, and wax...

If that wasn’t enough of an upper body workout, I figured I’d hit the beach and change into my wetsuit in my van for the first time in 2020...

Had a nice three-wheeled photo shoot yesterday outside of Palm Springs... How good is YOUR parking brake??

I tried that method and the angle triggered my OCD so I went with the Brazilian Bus mirrors. Try those and you won't go back.

Haha remember this thread?

Buddy's headliner used to be so nice and perky…

Somewhere between living in Phoenix, and traveling all summer the last few years, things got a little sloppy. The most recent Phoenix trip left me with these wrinkles:

All summer it got worse, especially with the humidity in New England. NYCythina and I were so disappointed in the wrinkles that we shot our album cover against them.

So today I committed to tensioning the headliner underneath the entropic rear hatch cover. It was a bit scary…

Sheet metal screws were used. Evil or Very Mad However! I used the defroster ground holes so I did not have to drill a hole in my car. Going on seven years of modifications using factory holes and mounts for everything now…

Why sheet metal screws? Because the PO installed the headliner with nothing but spray adhesive in the rear. This is not a station wagon headliner that has the clip/structure in it, it's a custom job, and looks quite nice despite the construction methods.

The screws are hidden by the Westy torsion rod cover anyway, so sue me.

On cabinets:

Eight years ago I made a little partition wall to keep my pillow from falling off the bed, and keep my skateboard safe in a crash... This week I was able to finish the cabinet I set out to make originally...

I think it’s pretty close, for a prototype! Gotta live with this for a few minutes this and figure out the faults, then have a professional make the final version. Cool

Best part so far? Built in dimmable lighting from the interior light switch. Smile
