Hi,
I am the happy new owner of a 1984 Turbodiesel Quantum Variant (we call it passat here).

I want to lower it, but I can't find any spring kit for my car... I do see lots of lowered quantums in the internet, but no clue of how they did it.

So,
How do you guys lower your quantums?
Also, is there any good source for used parts?

Thanks!

I would be interested in knowing also.
(Just starting to search for suspension ideas)

Anybody know offhand what kind of suspension parts are interchangeable between the Quantum wagons and other MK1 cars?

Front strut inserts are Audi 4000, rear shocks from a Rabbit can be made to work by relocating spring perch down a couple of inches (This was for a Quantum Synchro Wagon)

As far as lowering, about the only choice is to cut 1.5 coils out of the spring, but I’d suggest LITFA.
