I was camping and thought maybe a snake got under my dash because I start it up and my dash was hissing at me. It did this once as soon as I hit the brakes after the engine was off the hissing went away. The only thing under there under vacuum is my brake booster, so is this a sign of bad booster or is it just the grommet that needs to be changed at the input of the booster/ vacuum line area? And if so is this best a FLAPS part or should I go somewhere else to get one. I did start it up the next day and hissing was gone.

Thanks for your help.

Oh yeah I have a 1982 Aircooled Westy.
