Super
Another Wild Westerner on the road
Send me a picture of the m code plate with a name and address and i will send free of charge certification decals.
I have used up my internet quota it took me 10 minutes to open the email. It will reset on the 16th. The reason I am telling you this is because i don't want any of you to think i am ignoring your posts.
I just talked to a guy this morning who is restoring special edition jeeps i think he said they are LJ"s . He is interested in a Wild Westerner.
May 1st 2023 will be here sooner than you think so chop, chop we need to get as many Wild Westerners ready for Spokane.
If you are looking for one to restore hollar back i know where some are
located.

Hi all,
Been a long time since I've been on this WW thread, seems all is good with the usual suspects!
So here's the deal, I am selling my WW, the one I fully restored and finished about a year ago. It has 800 miles on it now and just did its first oil change to get rid of the Brad Penn break in oil. Running fantastic and ready for years of adventures.
Why am I selling it you ask, well I broke ground on WW #2 for its full restoration last weekend,. That will be a two year long process, and I now have my 1971 sun roof completed after 4 years so at least I have a bus to drive otherwise I wouldn't part with the WW. Not sure of pricing yet but I'm certain its one of the nicest 1973 buses on the road, not to mention its a WW!
More to follow in a few days. |

VWRESTOMODMAN good to hear from you. That is one nice WW you have there. I haven't been on here much myself and its good to see the regulars pressing on. I got a 70 Rivi Ill be spending some time on soon myself.
I have been pondering buying a really nice WW. Not sure if I will yet. More to follow when I feel up to it.

Thanks Jason. When it goes up for sale the timing might be right, you never know. The difficult part will be pricing it as I would like to see someone who really wants a WW get it, but also need to make sure I don't loose my as....... on it either. |

Win $500
The Cher $500 prize has not been claimed. Get a picture of Cher with your Wild Westerner and you will receive $500 in cash. (one prize available). She starts her Here We Go Again Tour this month. So this will be your best chance to meet up and win the dough .
Once again it is time to Honor The Late Great Wolfman Jack. Sunday evening there will be a Full Blood Moon Lunar Eclipse . Full eclipse will be from 11:45 PM EST and will last abt an hour. So impress your neighbors and put your Best Howl On while Honoring Wolfman Jack.
Dateline
1/26/19
After a 5 year hunt I have located the owner of the Wild Westerner Sold and lost in Myrtle Beach, SC. He was not aware his 1973 Transporter a Wild Westerner and has lowered it and painted the exterior green and white. I invited him to join us and hopefully he will do so.
Also after 6 year hunt for the Wild Westerner sold and lost in Florida I was able to find a current registration and the owner is located in Riverview Florida just 20 miles from where my son lives. The owner has been sent a notification to join us as well. Again hopefully they will.
Special Note to the clown who has been jerking me around on the Wild Westerner in Florida whom on one occasion told me two hippy s bought it and were living in it on the gulf coast and another occasion told me a Indian bought it from Miami both a lie. The joke is on you my friend for I have found it.

Delay in post/
Sorry folks I have retyped the list twice. it looks good in my word document however when I copy and paste it is scrambled.
Since Jan 1 as mentioned I have located the Wild Westerner sold and lost in Myrtle Beach, SC and Riverview,Florida.
Another Wild Westerner has been sold and has been shipped to Holland therefore 2 are in The Netherlands.
I have an active buyer looking for a Wild Westerner in New Mexico.
As soon as I can figure out the document issue I will post a new member list.

Wild Westerner Samba Imperial Beach, California confirmed decals mailed new find..
Wild Westerner in Riverview Florida, on samba painted blue and white.
Portland Oregon samba I see a 1978 Blue Bus with a air vent grill possibly the color of a Wild Westerner. So a light bulb came on it seems most were imported thru Portland there may be many in salvage yards in that area.
Do we have anyone willing to physically visit any and or all salvage yards ?

I should be visiting him a couple more times in the next couple months.
Enjoy!

I wish I had the time and/or money any time in the foreseeable future to grab that thing for a project. I wouldn't cut up a Bus (a WW, especially) to make a truck, but since someone else has, I feel like it deserves to be finished.
I also really like the high top WWs.
If only I could have all three! ha ha
Fiancee has made me promise to let her eventually own a horse. I think that'll probably have to come before I can get two more WWs. I doubt I can convince her that truck can pull a horse trailer...
On a whole other note, my Westerner will serve duty this weekend as photo booth, and later getaway vehicle for my wedding on Saturday! _________________ Dave Cook

I tell you what. That WW hack is well built. The bed on the truck alone is well done - frame work. You see there us also some kind of trailer that was made for it as well. Somebody spent some time on this and had a vision. _________________

Well I posted a pic of the Westerner when I gave it it's last bath, the day that I proposed.
Today I gave it a bath because tomorrow it'll be helping out with our wedding! It is going to be a photo bus, and also the getaway vehicle when we're all done.
And check out this magnet I got for the back!
