I'd never try anything like this in my Manx clone... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Euy_Va39I1M

Sort of boring if you ask me.... Just about any car could do what 911 did....

Here IS something a little bit more impressive....

that's weird to me. when i think porshe i don't think about off roading. i think about hugging around sharp curves on road or on a race track.

This Porsche is sorta old. This vintage used to run SCCA Pro Rally back in the day. Might be one of those cars. Lifted with skid plates.

I loved this video, especially because I was riding there while this guy was filming at shell reef! Some of those hills are pretty gnarly. Not so much creeping down, but some of the climbs are respectable. I had to put this one up on my Facebook. Plus, think of all the poor 911's that are rotting away in your neighbors' garages...

I was at Shell Reef a couple weeks ago. The video does not do justice to how steep it is there!

Hot and humid that's for sure. Things were still wet from the storms. The ravines on the mud hills are deeper and steeper now. The south side of Devil's Slide is almost straight down with the dirt and sand washed off. When the crowds return Halloween weekend they will find more challenges. But, Shell Reef Expressway has been graded after it was washed away and it is a hundred mph road right now!

Anyone that's been to shell reef will be impressed with what that 911 was able to do.

Weekday... you gotta know when to go. I've been there before and no one else ever came by. Thanks again for the PW80 parts! Still owe you.

I have been there when it was quiet but not for many, many years, hard to remember seeing it that way.

You are welcome! Glad to help you and your kids out.... You don't owe me, I try to give Doc a yearly donation and you did for me that year for the parts..... Thanks!
