Tried to find this with the search and since I'm having issues with grinds during shifting and hard to find gears I thought I'd order up the shift coupling and shift rod bushing. Looking on jbugs or wherever I see the chart fit for most other models on the bushing but not the type 3. Is it the same for all models? Sorry a little new to type 3's but not other Vw's and was wondering if I'm looking in the wrong spot or vendor to find these parts.

Dan

The bushing is the same, but I'm not so sure on the coupling. What most do however, is use the rubber parts of the coupling with the original T-3 cage parts. I only say that, as several people have had trouble with using a "new" bug coupler in a t-3.

Thanks. I see a few people have the coupling listed as a specific part to the T3. Thanks for the answer since I was wanting to get my order in today as the shifting is driving me nuts. I have to pause and slowly glide it into gear from 2nd to 3rd without grinding.
