Here is my bus on the day I bought it, about a year ago:

Nice and clean, but really wrong rims and tires. Elephant ear mirrors are correct for a '66 (although they were turned sideways) but I don't really like them.

Here is the most recent photo of it:

Correct 14 inch rims, slightly lowered stance, Hella foglights, VW logo mudflaps, Westy style curtains, roof rack, etc. I can actually see better out of the round mirrors, due to the fact that the arms stick out farther than the elephant ear ones did.

That looks cool man, makes me want to pull finger and get my accessories on my '66 too.

Any future plans?

I'd like to do some more work on the suspension. Right now it has an adjustable front beam and the back is stock reduction boxes with the springplates adjusted on notch below stock height.
I like the way it looks but the ride is a bit rough. I almost bought some drop spindles for the front but then I was thinking it might be too low even with the beam adjusted all the way up. So then if it's that low, I would probably have to get swing axle kit for the back in order to make it level.
I might just leave it the way it is.
