Had to share this with you all.
I stopped by a friends house this morning to say hello and chat. He is 80 years old and still kicking it VW. I have been pining over this 67 13 Window Deluxe for 5 years, and today we came to an agreement. I am buying it next week. Yes, back into the dark ages of split windows.... Running and driving, but needs some interior and body work, but no rust thru, especially in those important areas.

No, he built those to store camping gear. _________________ "Two things are infinite: The universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe." Albert Einstein

I'd be curious if it is 4242...

I just looked at the M-Code plate... I've been carrying it around under my seat as an 'anti-bad-shit' device for some time now. I guess it turned out luckier than I thought it was.

In my excitement, I forgot to check the M-code...will do next week for sure.
Manfred! I don't think so, but if I can get some Joisey love, I would be up for it.... _________________ "Two things are infinite: The universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe." Albert Einstein

If your feeling left out, being that it looks like you have zero rust to tackle, I can send you a scraping of my windshield sills. _________________ Waiting for santa to drop off funky green. I can wish can't I???? |

I see what you are talking about. Hmm?
Possible, as I said I was lax in checking the VIN and M-Code plates. He did show me the title though, it does say 67. No matter though, I am just thrilled to get it.

It does, but not the original. It has a 1600 DP, and runs well. Will be driving it home on Tuesday. _________________ "Two things are infinite: The universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe." Albert Einstein
