For 300 bucks more they fixed the front door & painted the whole Van?
Must be an Earl Scheib still open in Lost Wages NV ---keep it outa the sun--
"We'll Paint any car any color, in by 9 out by 5, won't chip, fade, peel, or crack--$29.95" |
The last time I was on North Broad street in Philly, Earl had raised the price to $119.95.
It was $99.95 during all my years of undergrad and graduate work at Temple University.
Never actually let them touch a vehicle of mine. |

he's not saying he got a $300 paint job
I think he's saying they already were getting some $$ from the insurance for the work & paint.. and that for an additional $300 over the insurance $$ they'd be nice and offer a more complete job.
I'd be suspecious to the sruface prep, but the paint probably would have been covered in the insurance $ they'd charged.. and instead of leaving it in the can they offered to refresh the whole vehicle. |

Still Levi I still think you got a hell of a deal just for the prep alone charges--
I hope for you they actually sanded the entire Van down--
Because if they didn't--you'll have to get all of this off prior to getting it painted down the road.
The top coat is only as good as what's underneath it.
Still looks pretty good from the first pictures--good wack. _________________ T.K. |
