I just mounted some original canopy hoops on my 61 single cab. We found them in the rafters of an old barn. I'm missing the wood support slats. I figured I'd head to home depot in the morning and get some. Does anyone know the exact dimensions of the wood supports that run between the two hoops? Also what kind of wood was used back in the day? Also looking for a pattern for the canvas cover so I can have a local canvas shop fab me one. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Bone collector.

The wood I have in mine are approx 1/2" x 2 1/2" x 9' but I have 7 slats vice 6 like originals, from what I have seen.

As for pattern, this guy makes them but he might be able to help out.

Also, don't know her name, but the lady over at PLF VW used to make them.

Probably not the exact answers you were looking for but at least a start.
