I'm really tempted to sell my Rockets and get some Torkers.
Pics would be good if anyone's got any.

Reviving a decade old post. Went thru the link and gallery and still only have found one type 3 with these wheels on them, and that car looks like it might be short axles and narrow front. Does anyone else have pics or info to share on these wheels on a type 3?
Thanks!!! |

These are wide 5 wheels so would only fit the 65 and early Type 3s without adapters or other conversion kits that generally add width to the track. These wheels also only have a 12mm offset and the stock Type 3 offset is 46 mm which means the outer lip of the wheel will be an additional 34mm (1-3/8") further outboard. Adding the extra width of these wheels adds an additional 1/2" movement outboard.
Trying to get these wheels to fit on a lowered Type 3 is going to be a challenge based on the numbers. Not impossible, but hardly a simply bolt-on. _________________ Later,

Thanks for the reply John! I should’ve added they would be on a 65 five lug car with long axles… |
