A few throwback names to the late '80s, early '90s scene. Braden had a radical custom '70 that was bright magenta, anybody know where it is now? He was from Castro Valley or San Rafael, I think. Sean Cour built a bad-ass '71 super 'vert that was incredible in terms of full custom detail, featured in the same issue as Braden (Nov. '90 Hot VWs, I think). Had Susie Hitchinson on the cover, I believe Grin Ted and Jason Stevens from Langley, B.C., I think, had a black BAAD '55 with pink and blue graphics.
Anybody know anything about any of these cars? Just curious. I know that Sean Cour had a bad ass black ragtop that was eventually sold and burned to the ground, so I'm told. |

Can you post pics of your old car? |
The old Super Beetle Convertible is still being shown today! Hot VWs had a photo of it at a show within this past year. I think it's somewhere in Texas or Arkansas

That Super Beetle vert was the car that got me into Volkswagens. Such an inspirational car to me. _________________ New Vintage Specialist.

I believe the car now resides in Connecticut. |

I think I said it in another thread once upon a time, but the Fuchs just look out of place on it... I liked the Boyds billets that were on it when it was featured. Pulled the car together and fit with the build theme more. |

I remember that car! Had billet wheels those back in the day? _________________ ITMC-El Presidente
