Hi All:
I recently purchased a 1967 camper and was wondering if any of you would be kind enough to tell me a little more about it based on what you know from the m-code. The VIN is 237005386 and I was told by the previous owner it was built in November of 1966. Here is the m-code:

Also, if anyone can tell me how to insert images on this forum I would appreciate that, too. I tried using the Img button but it only posted the text.
Thanks,
Will

This is a very typical plate for a US destination SO-42
425 and 430 are US spec packages
They only include reverse light and dual circuit brakes after a certain point.
Yes, earlier 67 did not get these features, and each was added at a different point.
your bus is normal, the description you found of the code was confusing.
Your bus was buildt 03 8, or 3rd of August (1966)
the upper M-code plate I posted, that bus was buildt 26 5, or 26th May (1967)
the lower one the date is 08 7, or 8th July (1996)
the date is in the European format of day- month
earlier buses have day- month- year, such as " 11 4 1 " for 11th April 1961 |
